1. Introduction
Wonderchat Private Limited, based in Singapore, 7 Temasek Boulevard #12-07 Suntec City Tower One, 038987 (Singapore) takes your privacy seriously and considers it important for your personal data (hereafter “your data”) to be treated with the necessary care and confidentiality at all times

To avoid any misunderstandings, we would like to clarify that this Privacy Statement is applicable on processing of personal data from:
Client: the entity who creates and distributes our Wonderchat bots
Respondent: User of the Wonderchat bot provided for by our clients
Website visitors: persons who visit our marketing landing page
Wonderchat is a provider of this service, and not the owner of the collected data. The client (the person who creates the chatbot that may collect data) is responsible for the data he/she collects and thus data controller of respondent data.
2. What data do we collect
Information we collect from our Clients (who hold a Wonderchat account and are using our service) or Website visitors (you are simply visiting our website).
Electronical identification data: including IP address, device & browser data, location data;
Information about your use of our website: including how you end up on our website and the pages you visited.
Registration information When you register for an account, we collect your first and last name, username and email address.
Billing information If you pay for a Wonderchat service, we will ask for your billing details, name, address and financial information depending on your payment method (stored by our payment service provider Paddle)
Chatbot data We store your Chatbot data (knowledge base data, file data, chatlogs data, chat analytics data) for you and provide tools for you to use with respect to this data.
3rd party integrated data if you choose to connect our chatbots to third party integrations available in our platform such as Hubspot, Google Suites, Zendesk and more.
3. How we use your data
Wonderchat does not sell personal data to third parties or use it for marketing purposes or for serving advertisements. We have no interest in collecting non-anonymized data from anyone who isn’t a registered user of Wonderchat.
We only collect your data with your consent or in order to:
Deliver our service to you
To improve your user experience
To email you with essential product updates
To troubleshoot product functionality and fix bugs
To respond to legal requests or for fraud prevention purposes
All third party integrated APIs, such as the Google Workspace API are not used to develop, improve, or train generalized AI and/or ML models.
4. Data we share
We only share your information with our service providers who help us operate our business, in which case those third parties are required to comply with the GDPR framework.

5. Data retention
If you are a Wonderchat client, we do not delete the data in your account. You are responsible for the time period for which you store the data. You can delete data in your Wonderchat account. If you are a respondent, you will need to ask the Client how long your responses will be stored in Wonderchat.
We honor all deletions, and all form data which has been deleted by the Wonderchat Client is permanently deleted from our back-ups within 7 days.
6. Your data protection rights
As our Privacy Policy states, if you’ve submitted your personal data through a Wonderchat bot, the Client is responsible for this data. Wonderchat only processes this data on the Client’s behalf. The Client can exercise their rights directly with us, but respondents should contact the person or organization which created the chatbot. If this isn't possible, please contact us. We'll help in any way we can.
Rights of the Client
Right of access
You have the right to find out whether your personal data is being processed, obtain information about certain aspects of that processing, and request a copy of the personal data being processed.
Right to rectification
You have the right to verify the accuracy of your personal data and request that inaccurate or incomplete information be updated or corrected. Certain account and billing information can be managed directly from your Billing page.
Right to restrict processing
Under certain circumstances, you have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data. Where this right applies, we will continue to store your personal data but will not actively process it for other purposes until the relevant issue has been resolved.
Right to erasure
Under certain circumstances, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data. If you would like to cancel your subscription, you can do so through the Billing page. Please note that cancelled payment data cannot be recovered once deleted.
If you would like us to erase your account data, you can do so by clicking on the 'delete account' button within your Wonderchat dashboard settings.
Right to data portability
You have the right to receive certain personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and, where technically feasible, have that data transmitted to another service without hindrance. You can export collected data from your Wonderchat dashboard in CSV format.
Right to object
You have the right, in certain circumstances, to object to the processing of your personal data. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority. If you would like to exercise your right to object to the processing of personal data we hold about you, please contact us.
7. Marketing
If a Client registers to Wonderchat, we may send them emails about company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. Clients always have the right to opt out of these email communications.
8. Cookies
Cookies are a small text files that are placed on your computer or mobile device by websites you visit. They are widely used in order to make a website work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the site.
9. Data Transfers
Wonderchat’s server and databases, including all chat and user data is stored in Germany, EU. Your data can be processed in countries outside of the EU by third parties that help us operate Wonderchat.
10. Users Acceptance Of These Terms
By using Wonderchat, our Clients signify their acceptance of this policy. If Clients do not agree to this policy, they should not use Wonderchat. Users continued use of Wonderchat following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed their acceptance of those changes.
11. Changes to our Privacy Policy
We can make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time. In circumstances where a change will materially change the way in which we collect or use your personal information or data, we will send a notice of this change to all of our account holders.
We keep our privacy policy under regular review and will place any updates on this web page. This privacy policy was last updated on 9 May 2026.
12. Information Security
We take steps to ensure that your information is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Unfortunately, the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you provide to us. We do not accept liability for unintentional disclosure.
By using the Service or providing Personal Information to us, you agree that we may communicate with you electronically regarding security, privacy, and administrative issues relating to your use of the Service. If we learn of a security system’s breach, we may attempt to notify you electronically by posting a notice on the Service or sending an email to you. You may have a legal right to receive this notice by mail.
